I think #2 looks dirty and like they did not have color at the time.
And #1 look's like they did have color.
I see it very differently because #1 pop's out and its like you can't
see #2 because it's so gray.I see the red white and blue it has bright color's.
The battle of Fallen Timbers
One of the big battles between the Americans and the Indians was the Battle of Fallen Timbers. There were many tribes attacking the people in Ohio to fight for the land. A lot of the people were getting killed. George Washington told Anthony Wayne to set up an army and they got ready to fight back. This became the Battle of Fallen Timbers.
How the battle started:
Josiah Harmar took 1,100 troops and marched to attack the Miami and Shawnee.
The native americans attacks in the Ohio area grew bigger and the governor St.Claire raised an army to fight back.
St. Claire and his army headed to the Maumee River where Little Turtle and Blue Jacket set a surprise attack.
At the Maumee River the Miami leader Little Turtle and the Shawnee leader had a surprise attack ready for St. Claire's army.
When they were fighting at the maumee river 600 people died and 21 of them were native americans.
This was one of St. Claire's worst defeat of her army by the native americans.
The battle became known as St. Claire's defeat.
Setting up for battle
In 1792 George Washington let Anthony Wayne be commander of the United States army.
The major purpose of this army was to defend Americans from Indian attack.
Anthony brought additional troops to supplement the army.
Anthony gathered 4,600 people for the battle.
The Battle
Anthony's new army marched north from Fort Washington, building a big line of forts along the way.
The Indian army was about 1,500 strong, consisted of Blue Jacket, Shawnee, Delaware's and many more.
The battle began on August 20th, 1794.
Wayne ordered an attackand he said "charge the rascals with the bayonet".
Ottawa leader said that there sharp end of there gun was too hard for them , so they ran away.
The battle was called The Battle of Fallen Timbers.
It was called that because there were fallen trees all over where they fought the battle.
After the Battle
In 1795 more than 1,100 defeated chiefs and warriors came to Fort Greenville for a peace conference.
Anthony Wayne gave a very important speech that both tribes got a part of Ohio. The Indians got the Northwestern part of Ohio and the Americans got the rest.
They signed the Treaty of Greenville on August 3, 1795.
After the speech I think the Indians felt good and also mad because they lost the battle but they still got a part of Ohio.
For the next year Anthony stayed at Fort Greenville negotiating with the Indians.
One of the last forts was named Fort Wayne.
The Treaty of Greenville brought a temporary end to the Native American wars.
Lots of people started settling in Ohio because the Treaty made them feel safer.
I think this battle was important because the Americans finally defeated the Indians and took over the land in Ohio. They came to an agreement and let the Indians have the Northwest part of Ohio. This was good for Ohio because more people moved in because it was safe. The Battle of Fallen Timbers was very important to settling the United States.
There are lots of places in Ohio named after Fallen Timbers. In Toledo there are parks and shopping centers. In Dublin, there is a street named Fallen Timbers in the Indian Run Meadows neighborhood. All of the streets have Indian names.

I rang the doorbell and someone opened the door it was anthony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He inveted me in side. He showed me his play room . We stared to play on his indoor basketball hoop.
Then we played football on his bed and than we went down stairs and the pizza person was hear.
Then he ate pizza. After that I went outside and played on his zip-line and then I had to leave and
